Dr. Strayhorn completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and went on to earn her M.D. at Rush Medical College. She served her residency at University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics, where she also completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Strayhorn has 28 years of professional experience and has served as an Assistant Professor at both Loyola University Medical Center and Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Strayhorn specializes in treating children and adolescents. Dr. Strayhorn joined IPD in 2011 and practices in the Morris IPD location.
