Dr. Klutcharch completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Klutcharch did his clinical internship at the DuPage County Health Department where he conducted diagnostic psychological testing, anger management groups, and psychotherapy. He did his diagnostic training at Southwest Community Services working with chronic mental health disorders. He completed his psychotherapy training at Cermak Hospital in Cook County Jail where he conducted psychotherapy and psychotherapy groups, including substance abuse and anger management groups. His experience additionally includes working in a residential treatment center for adolescent and adult women, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, substance abuse treatment, and at a community psychosocial program for adults with chronic mental illnesses. Dr. Klutcharch uses a collaborative and integrative approach to psychotherapy incorporating psychodynamic theories with cognitive and third wave behavioral approaches along with mindfulness practices provided in a safe and supportive environment. He seeks to address the patient's immediate problems and recurring patterns that have led to distress, hindered personal growth, and unhappiness. He tailors psychotherapy to each individual's unique needs and will draw from many different techniques to address one's problems.
