	Dr. John completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, earned his M.D. at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his residency in psychiatry at Loyola University Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. John specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, and bipolar disorder. Dr. Goldin-Mertdogan joined the staff of IPD in 1996.
