Dr. Hess received his M.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in 1988. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a psychotherapy fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Hess is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry.

Dr. Hess’ clinical interests include: anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar affective disorder, and panic disorder. Dr. Hess has 21 years of professional experience and has practiced in a multitude of settings including hospitals and private practice. Dr. Hess joined IPD’s staff in 2011 and sees patients in the Romeoville IPD location.
