 January Robinson is a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from University of St. Francis in Joliet and attended DePaul University to obtain a Master’s of Science in Nursing and then a Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Practice in 2007.  She received the award for clinical excellence at DePaul for her work and study of Holistic Healthcare in women and children.  Because of this background, January incorporates the essence of holistic care into the traditional medical model for illness.  In addition to prescribing and monitoring medicine, she has a deep understanding of the importance of nutritional guidance and support in physical activity to maintain a healthy body and mind.  January provided primary care on Navajo Nation and then in the Chicago Land area with Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers in 2008 and 2009.  She joined the IPD staff in 2009. January sees patients in the Romeoville, Morris and Ottawa IPD locations.
