Joy Miller, CADC, LCPC
 

 

Joy Miller is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor. She received her Masters Degree from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her clinical internship at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital on the inpatient psychiatric unit and she completed her internship for her certification in addictions at the Intensive Outpatient Program at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Outpatient Behavioral Health. Joy is also pursuing her Certification in Eating Disorders.
Ms. Miller's work experience includes working as a psychotherapist on an inpatient psychiatric unit, working in an Intensive Outpatient Program for treating addictions and doing individual psychotherapy with teenagers and adults. Her specialties include, individual, marital and family therapy, addressing the following issues: mood disorders, addictions, codependency, anger management, emotional overeating/obesity, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Joy has been practicing therapy since 1998 and in January, 2005 she joined the staff at IPD.
